5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
Unfasten screws.
Note:
The burner cover is welded plastically with the heater housing.
Lever out burner cover with screwdriver.
Installation:
Remove old sealing compound from cover and coat with new
sealing compound provided.
Observe tightening torque, 64 12 7AZ
.
Remove glow element (1) and flame detector (2) from burner
insert and detach together with burner cover.
Installation:
Run wires of glow element under cable duct (3) of burner
insert.
