5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
Note:
"LIF" stands for Low Insertion Force.
Open catch of LIF plug (1) in direction of arrow and feed out LIF
cable (2).
Installation:
•
Slide LIF cable (2) before lock up to stop into LIF
connector (1)
•
Make sure LIF cable (2) is correctly seated in LIF
connector (1).
Release screws (1).
Remove trim (2) from board (3).
Carefully pull off board (3) in upward direction.
Carefully remove cassette drive (4) from board (5).
Installation:
Make sure cassette drive (4) is correctly seated on board (5).
