5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
Remove clip (1).
Remove bracket (2).
Unfasten screw (3) and remove inertia reel units.
Installation:
Tightening Torque for screw (3),
refer to Technical Data 72 11 1AZ
Note encoding of inertia reel units on B-pillar.
Ensure Bowden cable is correctly seated in clip (1).
Unfasten (1) nut and remove D-ring from seatbelt height
adjustment unit.
Installation:
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 72 11 6AZ.
If necessary, remove seatbelt height adjuster: to do this,
disconnect Bowden cable and remove seatbelt height adjuster.
Installation:
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 72 11 2AZ.
