5 Series E39 530d (M57) SAL
Release nuts of airbag module on left.
Press lug on side to release airbag module plug from mounting.
Open lock by pressing lug, disconnect plug, remove airbag
module.
Disconnect plug connection,
refer also to 72 12 ... Unlocking/locking airbag plug connections.
Installing passenger airbag cover (airbag cover) with two retaining
straps and bracket:
Place bracket (1) on front threaded pins turned to passengers.
RA Removing and installing or replacing airbag module on passenger side
