5 Series E39 530d (M57) TOUR
Continue cranking engine in direction of rotation up to TDC
position until special tool 11 2 300 engages.
Caution!
Do not turn the engine back.
Hold crankshaft in TDC position with special tool 11 2 300 .
Place special tool 11 6 321 on inlet camshaft.
Note:
Special tool 11 6 321 must lie flush on cylinder head.
Place special tool 11 6 321 on exhaust camshaft.
Note:
Special tool 11 6 321 must lie flush on cylinder head.
Remove special tool 11 6 321 from exhaust camshaft.
Remove special tool 11 6 322 .
Remove special tool 11 2 300 .
