Replacing right engine carrier (partial
replacement in front of front axle)

Work instructions,

refer to General Information about body repairs

Place vehicle on straightening bench.

Remove or disconnect following parts:

- 

Complete bumper

- 

Impact absorbers

- 

Front wall

- 

Headlights

- 

Turn signals

- 

Radiator assembly

- 

Cover in wheel housing

- 

Trim on floor assembly

- 

Cover on wheel arch / side panel

- 

Air guide for radiator

- 

Possibly bracket for drier bottle

Remove or cover up other vehicle components in the repair zone
which are at risk from heat, flying sparks and dust.

Mark cutting line and cut off engine carrier.

Dimension (A) = max. 215 mm from bore for bush in front support
on front axle

∅

 12 mm.

1 = bore for bush in front support on front axle.

∅

 12 mm.

If the engine support is only damaged in front of the shock
absorber support point, the interface can be defined by dimension
(B).

Dimension (B) = min. 25 mm from bore 

∅

 10 mm.

Note:

View on engine support from engine compartment.
