Fit the trunk floor.
Mark out holes in luggage compartment floor for plug welding at
connecting point for
Crossmember, luggage compartment floor, front
Spare wheel recess
Side members, left and right
Support, side member.
Remove luggage compartment floor.
Drill holes in spare luggage compartment floor part for plug
welding at connecting point for
Crossmember, luggage compartment floor, front (1)
Spare wheel recess (2)
Side members, left and right (3)
Support, side member (4).
Make reinforcement plates for connecting point of side members,
left and right, from remaining plates.
Width of reinforcements: approx. 60 mm.
Overlapping: approx. 30 mm each.
Align the reinforcement plates.
On vehicle:
Drill holes for plug welding in reinforcement plates at connecting
point for side members, left and right.
