5 Series E39 530d (M57) TOUR
Unfasten bolt from right top belt.
Installation:
Mounting bracket (2) of right top belt must contact threaded pin (1)
during installation for proper positioning.
Caution!
Make sure webbing does not rub anywhere!
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 72 11 1AZ
Unfasten bolts (1) of reversing clip.
Installation:
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 72 11 1AZ
Left only:
Unfasten screws (2) of belt relief fitting and remove belt relief
fitting.
Installation:
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 72 11 7AZ

Reversing clip

Washer for bottom bolt

Bottom bolt
Note:
The reversing clip is provided with an identification mark for the
installation location,
L = Left
R = Right.
