5 Series E39 M5 (S62) SAL
Release belt tensioner on oil sump.
Release A/C compressor support bracket on oil sump.
Unfasten guide tube for dipstick on oil sump.
Installation:
Replace O-ring.
Insert O-ring and washer in oil sump bore.
Unfasten return line from oil sump.
Installation:
Replace seals.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 11 42 5AZ.
Unfasten steering spindle from steering gear.
This task is described in the work step Removing and installing
steering gear,
refer to 32 13 060.
