Removing and installing/replacing left oil
circuit changeover valve (S62)
Unscrew and remove splash guard.
Drain engine oil.
Note:
Engine oil sprays out when the oil circuit changeover valve is
pulled out.
Have a cleaning cloth ready.
Unfasten cable clip (1).
Disconnect connector (2).
Unfasten screws.
Caution!
Do not pull on cable.
Cover oil circuit changeover valve with a cleaning cloth and pull
out carefully.
Caution!
O-rings (1), (2) and (3) have different diameters.
O-rings can be damaged when the oil circuit changeover
valve is pulled out.
Installation:
Replace O-rings (1), (2) and (3).
