5 Series E39 M5 (S62) SAL
Installation:
Push lower section of intake filter housing (1) onto both air hoses.
Tighten down hose clamp (2).
E52 only:
Remove air cleaner.
Detach screw connection of lower section of intake filter housing
(1).
Remove cover from wheel arch on right.
Remove lower section of intake filter housing (1) from intake
hose (2).
E39 and E52:
Note:
Interrogate fault memory of DME control module.
Check stored fault messages.
Rectify faults.
Then clear fault memory.
