Removing and installing idler arm
Unscrew and remove splash guard.
Unfasten nut and press track rod off idler arm with special tool
32 1 190.
Installation:
Bore and tapered spigot free of grease.
Replace self-locking nut.
Brace on hexagon socket if necessary.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 32 21 3AZ.
Remove idler arm.
Installation:
Replace self-locking nut.
Tightening Torque,
refer to Technical Data 32 21 7AZ.

Caution!
If the idler arm is replaced, adjust the pitman arm,
refer to 32 21 510.
