Removing and installing/replacing DSC3
precharging pump S62/M5
Note:
After completing work:
·
Connect brake fluid changer.
·
Activate precharging pump with Diagnosis and
Information System.
·
Bleed precharging circuit.
Before beginning work:
Draw off brake fluid.
Release screw (1).
Release nuts (1) and remove horns.
Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect.
Release union nuts (3 and 4).
Caution!
Brake fluid may emerge.
Do not mix up brake lines.
Installation:
Line connections (see designation on precharging pump):
HZ: Line to tandem brake master cylinder
BA: Line to brake fluid supply tank
Tightening torque 34 32 1AZ.
Release screws (5 and 6) and remove precharging pump with
bracket (7).
