5 Series E39 M5 (S62) SAL
Offset connection point in side panel with tool.
Produce reinforcement plates for the water drain.
Width = min. 60 mm.
At least 30 mm overlap on each side.
Cut out side panel replacement section roughly from a new part, fit
in and cut out to final size.
Clean and coat mating surfaces on replacement section with zinc
dust paint.
RA Replacing left rear side panel (partial replacement)
