1.
Audio system with CD drive fitted.
2.
Battery charged and functional, if necessary use a suitable battery charger during the
test.
3.
Set the "treble" and "bass" controls to their respective middle points.
4.
Set loudness function (if available) to "on".
5.
On systems with spatial sound switch or DSP amplifier, switch these off .
6.
For the test, play the music track on the test CD (track 17) and increase the volume to
the upper limit of the output stage before reducing it slightly.
Note:
Note noise protection regulations - if necessary, wear ear protection!
Only use the test CD in the vehicle in conjunction with audio components which
have been approved by BMW!
