At the same time, the asynchronous instruction display with direction arrows appears in the monitor.

This complaint affects both systems "TopNavigation" (Mk2c) and "Radio navigation" (Mk2m).

Cause: 
Faulty synchronisation of variables in individual software modules.

The TMC symbol intermittently remains black in the status bar

Complaint: 
The TMC symbol intermittently remains black in the route guidance display (map display). 
No traffic holdup information which may be issued is loaded into the navigation system.

This complaint affects the system "TopNavigation" (Mk2c).

Cause: 
Faulty parameter of a signal from the navigation computer to the radio.

Action:

The target direction arrow (TDA) is shown in a digitalised area

Complaint: 
When driving through a partially digitalised area, only the target direction arrow (TDA) is displayed. The display
intermittently remains in this mode even when the vehicle has returned to an area which is completely recorded
(explanatory notes on the TDA display and its difference to the road direction arrow (RDA) can be found in IDC
029/99-12).

This complaint affects the system "radio navigation" (Mk2m).

Cause: 
Faulty transmission of trigger value in software.

Action: 
See Procedure

The target direction arrow (TDA) is replaced with an initial note when a completely recorded area is reached. This is
then followed by the road direction arrow (RDA).

If an incoming call without caller identifier is received, an incorrect number is shown on the display

Complaint: 
If an incoming call is received without "caller identifier", an "incorrect" telephone number will appear on the display of
the radio navigation control panel. This "incorrect" telephone number is the number of the last person with whom a
telephone connection was made.

This complaint only affects the system "Radio navigation" (Mk2m).

Cause: 
A transmitted caller identifier is temporarily stored in the navigation computer to prevent it from being forgotten if
other menu items are selected at the radio navigation control panel (the telephone only transmits this number to the
navigation computer once). This was not deleted, so that the "old" memory content is repeatedly displayed until
another telephone number is transmitted for an incoming call.
