Deactivating / reactivating seat belt reminder
Deactivate and reactivate the seat belt reminder for the driver and front passenger by
encoding as per the table below.
Note:
Deactivating the seat belt reminder is not permitted in Japan.
On the E53, it is possible to deactivate / reactivate the seat-belt reminder on the
front-passenger side only by installing a Light Check Module (LCM) / light module
(LM) with encoding index 24 or higher (standard from April 2005).
