Feedback on digital road maps for BMW navigation system

All series with BMW navigation system

Situation:

The data stored in digital road maps is a requirement for accurate navigation with the BMW
navigation system.

If differences are detected between the actual road system and the road map being used
by the BMW Navigation system, this may either be a consequence of how the road map
data is processed in the navigation computer, or a consequence of the road map data itself.

To allow discrepancies in the road map data to be corrected as quickly as possible, an
opportunity has been provided for these to be reported to the publisher of the road maps
via the Internet. These modification reports will be processed as quickly as possible and will
be taken into consideration in new versions of the road map.

All series with BMW navigation system

Procedure:

Surf to webpage http://update.navteq.com and set the language you require. On the page
that is now shown, select the country in which the discrepancy has been detected.
A form 
(see illustrations 1 and 2) will now be displayed.
