Removing and installing, sealing/replacing
timing case cover at rear (N47, N47S)
Special tools required:
•
00 9 120
•
11 8 815
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove engine.
•
Remove flywheel.
•
Remove cylinder head.
•
Removing oil pan.
Release screws (1).
Release screw holding high pressure pump.
Remove sheet metal gasket (1).
Check close-tolerance sleeves (2) for damage, replace if
necessary.
