Checking fuel return pressure (N47, M57T2)
Special tools required:

13 5 222
•
13 6 030
Note:
•
If necessary, remove acoustic cover
•
Connect BMW diagnosis system
Recycling:
Catch and dispose of escaping fuel in a suitable container.
Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.
Disconnect quick-connect coupling from return line (1).
Connect special tools 13 6 030 and 13 5 222 .
Connect pressure sensor (2) of DIS Tester.
Insert special tool 13 6 030 between lines.
Turn on ignition or activate fuel pump by means of BMW
diagnosis system. Read off fuel return pressure. Refer to
Technical Data.
