Replacing center muffler (M54)
Warning!
Scalding hazard!
These tasks should only be carried out on an exhaust system
that has cooled down!
The cutting line between rear muffler and center muffler is
indicated by a center mark on the underside.
Cut the exhaust pipe with special tool 00 2 210 at the marked
point and deburr.
Unfasten screw connection. Remove front pipe holder.
Installation:
After complete installation of exhaust system, align front pipe
holder so that it is free from tension.
