5 Series E60 520i (N43) SAL
Important!
Position piston rings, risk of piston rings cracking.
Lubricate special tool 11 8 140 and piston with oil.
Press in piston only with finger force (do not knock in!).
Install piston so that arrow points to camshaft drive.
Place special tool 11 8 141 on cylinder.
Insert piston with special tool 11 8 330.
Press in piston in direction of arrow.
Installation:
Direction arrows on piston crown must point to chain drive.
Attach crankpin to connecting rod.
Remove special tool 11 8 330 .
Note:
For purposes of clarity, the pairing letters (1) are shown on the
removed conrod.
Important!
Conrod and bearing cap are identified with pairing letters (1)
and must not be mixed up.
