5 Series E60 520i (N46T) SAL
Remove nut (1).
Remove special tool 11 9 390 .
Install torsion springs of cylinders 1 to 3 in accordance with
same procedure.
Note:
The retaining plate (1) will inevitably be subject to slight bending
when the torsion springs are tensioned and released but this does
not have any effect on the function.
Note:
O-rings (1 and 2) are different.
Replace O-rings (1 and 2) on spark plug domes and coat with
engine oil as antiseize agent.
Install spark plug domes (1) on cylinders 2 and 3.
Important!
When fitting bearing bracket:
Align spark plug domes (1) to bearing bracket.
