Removing and installing/replacing rear carpet
on seat pan
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove both front seats
•
Remove rear seat
•
Remove both panels for door pillars
•
Remove both rear inner entrance cover strips
•
Remove handbrake lever
Version with central bass speaker:
•
Remove both central bass speaker trims
Build date from 09/2005:
•
Remove airbag control unit
Build date up to 08/2005:
If necessary, disconnect plug connections from air duct (1).
Remove air duct (1).
Lay back cable (2) and feed out carpet (3) towards rear/top.
Installation:
Make sure that handbrake Bowden cable, cable, apertures for air
guides and attachment points are correctly positioned.
