Replacing changeover valve for
independent/auxiliary heater
Warning!
Danger of scalding!
Only perform the following tasks on an engine that has cooled
down.
Follow instructions for working on cooling system.
Note:
Disconnect coolant hoses from changeover valve for
independent/auxiliary heater.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove front left wheel arch trim
Important!
Risk of damage!
Observe marked coolant flow direction.
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Note:
Mark position of coolant hoses prior to removal.
Release spring clamps (2) and detach coolant hoses.
Unscrew nuts (3).
