5 Series E60 523Li (N52) SAL
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Drawing off, evacuating and filling the A/C system are not
included in the time value given for this work operation
•
Remove alternator drive belt
•
Remove front assembly underside protection
•
Remove coolant thermostat
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release screws (2, 3) and disconnect suction and pressure lines.
Installation:
Replace all sealing rings and moisten with refrigerant oil.
Tightening torque 64 52 3AZ
.
If necessary, release bracket for oil lines (1) to feed out
compressor.
Note:
Secure compressor (3) against falling out.
Release bolt (2) and if necessary remove with bushing behind.
Release screws (1).
Remove compressor (3) towards front.
Installation:
Make sure bushing is correctly fitted, replace damaged bushings.
Tightening torque 64 52 3AZ
