Replacing camshafts (M57T2)
Special tools required:

11 3 340
•
11 6 080
•
11 6 250
•
11 6 254
•
11 6 480
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove vacuum pump
•
Removing cylinder head cover
Crank engine at crankshaft with special tool 11 6 480 .
The cams on the inlet camshaft at the 1st cylinder point
downwards.
Release screw (1).
Note:
Bolt (1) must be removed beforehand as it is no longer
accessible in TDC position.
Sprocket wheel classification (0) value from 0 to 9
Tightening torque 11 31 1AZ.
Undo plug in timing case cover at bottom.
