5 Series E60 525d (M57T2) SAL
Position (1) of inlet camshaft gear flush with cylinder head.
Position (2) of exhaust camshaft gear flush with cylinder head.
Evenly release bolts of camshaft bearing caps A1 to A7 in 1/2
turn steps from outside to inside.
Remove exhaust camshaft in direction of arrow.
Note:
Worn rockers may only be reused on the same grooves of the
camshaft.
Important!
These screws must "not" be removed.
