Removing and installing/sealing or replacing
complete full-flow oil filter (M57TU)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove acoustic cover.
•
Drain oil filter.
•
Drain coolant.
Caution!
Protect alternator against engine oil.
Protect alternator with suitable apparatus (risk of damage).
Recycling:
Catch and dispose of drained coolant.
Catch and dispose of escaping engine oil.
Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.
Detach hose (1).
Disconnect plug connection (2).
Release screw (4).
Release screws (3).
Installation:
Clean sealing surfaces.
Replace all profile seals.
