Replacing pressure transducer for
turbocharger (M57TU)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Read out DDE fault memory.
Release vacuum line (1) (black)
Release vacuum line (2) (blue)
Installation:
Pressure transducer (4) is fitted with a blue rubber ring (5) in
order to avoid confusion. Blue vacuum hose must be fitted on
connection with blue rubber ring.
Disconnect plug connection (3).
Unscrew nut (6).
Remove pressure transducer (4).
Assemble engine.
Check function of DDE.
Assemble engine.
