Replacing battery positive lead (between
starter motor and jump start connection
point) (M57TU, M57T2)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Read fault memory.
•
Switch off ignition
•
Disconnect battery negative lead from battery and lay to one
side
Follow instructions for disconnecting and connecting battery
Note:
For a better overview, this work step is shown from below. All the
tasks can be performed from above.
Slacken nut (1).
Installation:
Tightening torque 12 41 4AZ
.
Disconnect battery positive lead (2) from starter motor.
Unclip battery positive lead (1) from holder (2).
Fold cover (4) downwards.
Unscrew nut (3).
Detach battery positive lead (1) from jump start connection point
and remove
