Before installing injectors, clean injector stems.

DDE 4

If more than 2 injectors have been replaced, "injector map
adjustment" must be carried out:

- 

Connect DIS Tester

- 

Identify car

- 

Select "Function selection"

- 

Select "Service functions"

EU3 / DDE 5 only

The first 6 numbers/letters must be read off in each case when
new injectors are installed.

Enter the numbers/letters according to the installation location
(cylinder) of the new injectors.

- 

Select "Digital Diesel Electronics" (DDE)

- 

Select "Adjustment, injector quantity adjustment"

- 

Select "Test schedule"

- 

Select "Carry out adjustment". The adjustment values are

thus set to neutral.

EU4 / DDE 5 only

The first 7 numbers/letters must be read off in each case when
new injectors are installed.

Enter the numbers/letters according to the installation location
(cylinder) of the new injectors.

- 

Select "Diesel Electronics" (DDE)

- 

Select "Adjustment, injector quantity adjustment"

- 

Select "Test schedule"

- 

Select "Carry out adjustment". The adjustment values are

thus set to neutral.

- 

Select "Adaptations, quantity mean value adaptation".
