5 Series E60 525d (M57TU) SAL
Release banjo bolts (1, 2) and detach pressure lines from power
steering pump.
Installation:
Replace sealing rings (D).
Make sure hydraulic line is laid without tension and with sufficient
spacing to adjoining components.
Tightening torque 32 41 3AZ
.
Release hose clamp (3) and detach suction line from power
steering pump.
Version with active front steering: Disconnect plug
connection (4).
Release screws (2).
Tightening torque, 32 41 6AZ
.
Remove bracket for Dynamic Drive pressure line from power
steering pump.
Release screws (1, 3).
Lift out power steering pump.
Installation:
Insert screws (1, 3).
Tighten down screws (3).
Tightening torque 32 41 1AZ
.
Tighten down screws (1).
Tightening torque 32 41 1AZ
.
After installation:
•
Fill and bleed hydraulic system
•
Check pipe connections for leaks
•
If necessary, carry out initial Dynamic Drive operation
