Removing and installing/replacing panel for
roof pillar at front (A-pillar), left or right
Warning!
Follow safety instructions for working on cars with airbag
systems.
Important!
Do not use any sharp-edged tools to remove trim (risk of
damage to head airbag).
Detach mucket (1) in area of panel (2).
Unclip protective cap (3) and remove.
Release screw (1).
Tightening torque 51 43 2AZ
.
Unclip panel (2) at fastening point (3).
Feed out panel (2) from instrument panel (4) and remove.
Installation:
If necessary, lever out clip (1) remaining in bore.
If necessary, replace faulty clip (1).
Make sure guide (3) of panel (2) is correctly seated in
associated mounting.
Position panel (2) preinstalled with clip (1) on associated bore
and clip into place.
