Replacing rear spoiler (M5)
Special tools required:

00 9 318
Important!
The Instructions on component cementing with double-sided
adhesive tape serve as the basis for this repair instruction and
must be observed without fail.
Removing rear spoiler:
Carefully detach rear spoiler (1) from rear lid with special tool
00 9 318 (assembly wedge) and hot air blower.
Installation:
For cleaning, use a fluff-free disposable cloth or a clean cleaning
cloth.
Clean adhesive area of rear lid with spirit.
Air drying time at least 1 minute.
Determining centre of rear lid:
Measure rear lid from left edge to right edge.
Mark centre of rear lid with adhesive tape.
Also mark centre above BMW badge on lower section of rear lid
(see adhesive tapes (1) in next illustration).
Determining fitting dimensions of rear spoiler:
