Removing and installing/replacing backrest
frame on left or right front seat (comfort)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove front seat
•
Remove both rear panels on front seat backrest
•
Remove inner cover on front seat
•
Remove backrest cover for front seat
•
Remove head restraint support on front seat
Release all cable ties on wiring harness (1).
Disconnect all marked plug connections.
Feed through wiring harness (1) at bottom right on backrest
frame.
Unclip left and right clips (1).
Unhook seat covers (2) on left and right.
Release left and right screws (3).
Tightening torque 52 10 2AZ
.
If necessary, remove lumbar cushion with drive and valve block.
Remove backrest frame.
Installation:
When replacing backrest or seat frame, break off centring
hooks (1) from seat frame.
