5 Series E60 525d (M57TU) SAL
Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 64 12 3AZ.
Replace all screws.
Carefully lift out combustion air blower unit (2).
Release screws (1) and pull out burner insert (3) with grommet (2).
Replace all screws.
Tightening torque 64 12 4AZ.
Installation:
Make sure grommet (2) is in correct installation position.
Installation:
•
Replace seals (1, 2) and clean sealing surfaces thoroughly.
•
If necessary, remove soot deposits.
•
To prevent the fuel pipe on the burner element being
damaged, coat seal (2) with spirit when fitting housing.
After installation:
•
Fill and vent cooling system and check for leaks
