5 Series E60 525d (M57TU) SAL
Note:
For purposes of clarity, illustration shows backrest cover removed.
Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Release screw connections (2).
Feed out AKS carrier (3) in direction of arrow and secure against
falling out.
Cut through cable tie (1).
Disconnect plug connection (2).
Release screws (3).
Feed drive unit for head restraint height adjustment (4) in
direction of arrow out of AKS carrier (5) and remove.
Replacement:
Initialize drive unit for head restraint height adjustment.
