Important!
Protect alternator against engine oil, coolant or fuel.
Cover alternator with suitable apparatus (risk of damage!).
Recycling:
Catch and dispose of escaping fuel and coolant.
Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.
Important!
E65 with M57T2 only:
From production date 11/2004 a high-pressure pump with a
Woodruff key groove in the pump shaft is fitted!
Installation:
Position pump shaft so that groove in shaft and cast lug in drive
sprocket wheel are flush.
