Necessary preliminary tasks:
E65 only:
•
Remove fan cowl
•
Remove auxiliary fan
•
Remove intercooler
•
Remove radiator
•
Remove cover at bottom left and right
•
Remove left and right air ducts
Necessary preliminary tasks:
E60 only:
•
Remove fan cowl with electric fan
•
Remove radiator
•
Remove intercooler
•
Remove front underbody protection
Recycling:
Catch and dispose of hydraulic fluid.
Observe country-specific waste-disposal regulations.
Draw off hydraulic fluid.
Installation:
Top up hydraulic fluid.
Bleed power steering.
Check fluid level in power steering fluid reservoir; top up if
necessary.
