Removing and installing/replacing
multifunction steering wheel switch
Special tools required:

61 3 120
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove airbag unit
Note:
Illustration shows steering wheel removed.
Release screws (1).
Remove retaining plate for steering wheel (2) from standard
steering wheel (3).
Note:
Illustrations depict removal of the right multifunction steering wheel
switch. The left multifunction steering wheel switch is removed in
the same way.
Release screws (1).
Unclip right multifunction steering wheel switch (2) at point (3).
Disconnect associated plug connection and remove right
multifunction steering wheel switch (2) with decorative strip.
Installation:
Make sure guide pins (4) are correctly seated.
