Drawing knife set for glued-on roof-mounted aerial
E60, E61, E65 and E66
Situation:
On the above model series, the roof-mounted aerial (empty housing) is secured with glue
(Sikaflex). The new special tool is needed for removing the roof-mounted aerial without
causing damage when painting the roof or retrofitting a navigation system or telephone.
The blade on the special tool has been specially designed for the structure of the roof and
the roof-mounted aerial.
Paint damage can thus be ruled out, provided the special tool is used correctly.
Procedure:
The special tool will only be supplied to order. Please refer to Enclosure 1.
