Warning!
Read and follow safety instructions on the bottle of the
ZF LifeGuardFluid One additive.
1. Transmission with plastic oil sump:
When engine is stopped, open 8 A/F transmission filler plug (1)
and drain off 1 litre of transmission fluid.
Catch transmission fluid in a measurement container.
Start engine and allow engine to idle in with selector lever in
P position.
Pour in 1 litre of ZF LifeGuardFluid One additive with special
tool 00 2 080 .
Screw in transmission filler plug.
Installation:
Tightening torque: 35 Nm.
Attach the notice sticker supplied with the bottle to the side of the
oil sump next to the fluid filler plug.
Then carry out a fluid level adjustment to exclude the possibility of
minimum filling.
2. Transmission with sheet metal oil sump:
When engine is stopped, open transmission filler plug in dome of
oil sump (17 A/F hexagon socket head cap screw) and drain off
1 litre of transmission fluid.
Catch transmission fluid in a measurement container.
