Replacing rear muffler (M54, N52)
Warning!
Scalding hazard!
These tasks should only be carried out on an exhaust system
that has cooled down!
The cutting line between rear muffler and centre muffler is
indicated by a centre mark on the underside.
Cut the exhaust pipe with special tool 00 2 210 at the marked
point and deburr.
Release screw connection of holder for rear muffler on rear axle
carrier.
