Removing and installing/replacing drive unit
with gearing for slide/tilt sunroof

Important!

Read and comply with notes on protection against
electrostatic damage (ESD protection).

Necessary preliminary tasks:

•

Remove front roofliner trim

Note:

Secure drive unit with gearing for slide/tilt sunroof (2) against
falling out.

Release screws (1), tightening torque  54 13 1AZ

.

Lower drive unit with gearing for slide/tilt sunroof (2).

Note:

Screws (1) are microencapsulated.

Unlock plug connection (3), disconnect and remove drive unit
with gearing for slide/tilt sunroof (2).

Installation:

Insert gear wheel (1) of drive with gear for actuating slide/tilt
sunroof (2) in gear teeth.
