Resurfacing cylinder head sealing face (N53)
Important!
Reconditioning on cylinder head max. 0.3 mm
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove cylinder head.
•
Remove exhaust camshaft.
•
Remove intake camshaft.
•
Remove all roller cam followers.
•
Remove all HVCA elements.
•
Remove all valves.
Check evenness of cylinder head sealing faces with a standard
straightedge (1).
Note:
Max. deviation from level (longitudinal) 0.10 mm
Check evenness of cylinder head sealing faces with a standard
straightedge (1).
Note:
Max. deviation from level (transverse) 0.05 mm
