Removing and installing/replacing diesel
particulate filter (M57TU, M57T2)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove engine underbody protection
Warning!
Scalding hazard!
Only perform these tasks on an engine that has cooled down.
Unfasten screw connection.
Installation:
Replace seal.
Replace self-locking nuts.
Release bolt connection and remove diesel particulate filter (1).
Installation:
Replace seal.
Replace self-locking nuts.
