5 Series E60 545i (N62) SAL
Remove front splash guard.
If fitted, open drain plug on coolant radiator. On coolant radiators
which do not have a drain plug, remove coolant hose.
Drain, catch and dispose off coolant.
Remove reinforcement plate.
Open drain plug (1) on engine block.
Drain, catch and dispose off coolant.
Installation:
Replace sealing ring.
Tightening torque 11 11 5AZ
.
Adding coolant:
Vent cooling system and check for leaks.
RA Draining and adding coolant (N62, N62TU)
