Removing and installing / replacing VANOS
high-pressure pump (S85)
Special tools required:

Important!
Risk of damage to the VANOS high-pressure line.
Do not crank engine while banjo bolt is released.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
•
Remove engine oil sump.
•
Remove oil pump.
Release banjo bolt (1).
Tightening torque. 11 36 4AZ.
Release screws (2).
Remove VANOS high-pressure pump (3).
