5 Series E60 M5 (S85) SAL
If necessary, unlock and disconnect plug connections (1) for seat
heating.
Release screws (2).
Installation:
Insert screws (2) with Loctite.
Place thigh support (1) on seat surface.
Release all retainers (2).
Remove all remnants of clips from seat cover and seat
mechanism.
Installation:
Bend new retainers closed with pliers 52 0 050 .
Detach seat cover (1) in marked area from carrier (2) for thigh
support.
Feed plug out of carrier (2) for thigh support.
Unlock plug connection (1) for air conditioning (fan) and
disconnect.
Installation:
Ensure correct routing of cables.
Pull cover (2) off padding (3).
